When he's not teaching a gaggle of sixth, seventh and eighth graders or teaching night classes in order to help locals earn their diplomas or GED's, he's at home helping our three children with homework, starting dinner, doing laundry, loading the dishwasher and doing whatever needs to be done around the house that I haven't' had a chance to get to.
He is the best floor cleaner. Ever. He's the "pull the furniture out and clean under everything" type.
He is always on top of the laundry, so it rarely piles up. He scrubs toilets and sinks and though he often overlooks the tubs, I am thrilled that 75% of my bathroom is always clean.
He helps me keep the kids organized and on the go. He is an excellent child chauffeur and an even better errand runner. He never complains about the sometimes three or four trips I send him on because I've neglected my shopping list.
He's a pretty good cook, an excellent masseuse, a doting father, a great kisser and my very best friend.
So just when I thought he couldn't be any more perfect, he busts out with this move.

I was making my "make ahead" meals on Sunday when I realized I was out of enchilada sauce. It was getting late and I didn't want either of us to make the trek to the store.

I was cussing myself for not checking my list of ingredients when he pulled down a big bag of dehydrated chiles from the highest pantry shelf. He told me not to worry, he was going to make some sauce.

In my mind I laughed at him. In real life I just smiled and asked if he had a recipe.
He went right to work and within an hours time he had re hydrated, cleaned, sliced, boiled, strained and worked the chiles into a delicious sauce.

I will no longer be buying the canned stuff, and needless to say, I was totally impressed!

Thank you Mr. Zombie for all your mad skillz. You are da bomb!
