A Rare Occurance

If you were to go by pictures alone, you would swear I only had two kids. True hates getting her picture taken. I suppose she takes after me...

But one evening I came home from work, and she was just sitting there looking particularly sweet, and I said "man I wish you would let me get some photos of you".

She raised her eyebrows at me with one of those "do we have to argue this again?" looks. Then I said "since you just had a Birthday...I'd really like to remember you like this before you get so big I can't remember you little at all".

And being as sentimental as her old lady, she smiled and said "ok mamma".

I didn't hesitate! We were packed and out the door within minutes!

By the time I drove across town to the place I had in my mind the sun was just where I wanted it for this delicious light.

It didn't take long before she was quite comfortable in front of the camera.

She even volunteered to lay on a tree!

She was such a great sport! And since she is my little nature girl, I thought the photos fit her perfectly.

Now if I can only get her in front of the camera enough times to fill up her space in the Christmas photo albums I give to the family...
I'd better go practice my guilt trips!

She is so naturally lovely. I am glad you were able to convince her to allow some photos.
