So today was the first day of school. The girls say it went pretty well. I didn't think I'd cry or anything being the second kid and all but dang I'm such a sap!
My little tater is going all day now!
I didn't have too much trouble getting them all out of bed and ready. We are all so out of practice from summer I figured it would be a fiasco getting out the door, but it was all good.
Deni was the only grumpy one as usual. She is NOT a morning person!
I got the ok from my boss (who is awesome btw) to be late so I could see them off properly.
I think it calmed True's (and my) first day jitters to have me there.
After they were all off I had a hard time not thinking about how their day was going. I found myself watching the clock at work waiting for the time when I knew Dennis would have them home so I could call and see how the day went.
When I got home everyone was happy and eager to tell me all about it. Sage was relieved that a few of her friends were in her new class and that her teacher is indeed light on homework. I reminded her that I am not light on homework and that she will still have plenty of studies to do at home!
True was happy because one of her best friends is in her class again. She said she didn't feel so lonely with her there. Thank you miss Gracie!

Deni was cool w/going to the sitters. She is groovin on the fact that she is almost the only kid there this year. There is another one that goes just a half day, so she gets full attention the rest of the time!
Now that the practice run is down we will have to see if we can keep up a good routine for the rest of the year!
