School in two days!

I can't believe school starts in two days!
The summer went too fast. I worked all summer so I feel a little cheated on the quality time with my kids. However, I'm sure Dennis feels like he got more than his fair share of quality time!
Spending 24/7 with your kids when you not used to is surely exhausting!

The kids are pretty excited for school to start though. Sage is going into fourth grade and was relieved to find out her new teacher, Ms. Simkins, is light on the homework load. She is more excited to go to school for the social aspect rather than the learning though. She wants to try out her new school clothes and see her friends again.
True is going into the first grade and has Mrs. Eide again. Mrs. Eide moved up from Kindergarten to first grade this year and we opted to have True in her class again. True has a hard time with change so we figured it would ease the transition from half day to full day by at least keeping the same teacher. She is excited to start school, she's really been on a roll lately with her reading and math.
Deni will keep going to Parker's (Kids Learning Center) twice a week to progress her reading and writing skills. Our wonderful babysitter Traci has agreed to shuttle her back and forth on those days so we were able to keep her enrolled this year. Deni's birthday is in October and she misses the cut off by five days. This means she has two years before kindergarten instead of one like we hoped. She will be more than ready for kindergarten next year but rules are rules and they don't budge on the cut off!
I plan to post a few pics of the girls w/their school stuff. Mainly for scrapbook purposes but hey, everyone likes pictures right?!
