I sat them aside for a rainy day and well, it sorta rained today. It rained like it usually does here, just a few minutes at a time and just enough to make it muggy.

But still, it was a good reason to craft, not that we need a "good" reason around here...

There's been a lot of things I had hoped to do with the girls this summer but time is slipping away too fast. There are only two weeks left till school starts now and I know I won't have time to fit it all in.

But although the kitchen was in need of a good scrubbing and the craft and laundry room was in shambles, I took a deep breath and sat down at the craft table and called the girls in.

Now, you all know I love to craft.

As far as my kids go, well, the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

They could sit for hours painting, gluing, drawing, coloring, crocheting, writing, modeling clay and making movies on the camcorder.

Hours.

I think they forget I'm just one person and that there are three of them.

So if they each have three projects that means mom is helping with nine!

They never want to quit and by the time we're finished I'm usually so wore out I'm no good for anything else for the rest of the day!

They made some really funky and cute stuff to go with a couple school outfits.
And yes, I am officially wore out!
*The pics say Finding Rey, I was gonna post this originally to the craft blog but thought later it was more of a family activity so I put it here! Just in case there was any confusion!*

Sounds like a lot of fun. Crafting with the toddler is still a labor of love at this point but we're getting there!
