Weekend firsts: Soccer and a Concert

This weekend was the first soccer games of the season. It was also Deni's first soccer game ever.

She was even pumped up for practices.

It was so weird to see my little "girlie girl" all dressed up to play soccer. Of coarse I thought she looked adorable!

She's taking to it pretty well and has found she's a pretty solid goalie!

She and True were awesome. True scored two of three goals for her team which gave them the win! We aren't even sure who won Deni's match, all we know (and care) is that she had a huge smile on her face the whole time she was out there!

Here they are right before their games. You can see how excited they are!

Another big first this weekend was Sage's first real concert!
She and I went to the Blue October concert at the Hard Rock and it was awesome! They are really great live and we enjoyed the excitement in the crowd as we sang along with many others to all our favorite songs.
I would have like to get some pictures, however, I wasn't really feeling up to carrying my camera around with me all night. So here is a quick pic of us as we were walking out the door to go.

Yeah, we're pretty much twins. Poor thing. She probably gets tired of hearing it. I don't mind getting told how we are alike. After all, I do think she's rather beautiful!
She can really be quite grown up sometimes. She's helping out a lot more around the house with out us having to ask. She's showing more responsibility with her homework and with her chores. It's fun to have conversations with her and share our interests in music and art. I can say I'm really proud at how mature she is and that she is growing up to be quite a lovely young lady.

Er. Yeah, did I mention she's still eleven?

Oh how I love my crazy kids!

The soccer cuties looks so, well, cute. And they sound like they are budding super stars.

And a very lovely twin you have! Funny, too!
