The Mr. and I will have three nights a week back into our lives!

Don't get me wrong- I love watching my kids play soccer. Especially when they are grinning from ear to ear the whole time they're on the field even though they are beet red and obviously exhausted (Deni). Or when they face plant into the ground, come up with a bloody nose and lip and only start crying when they think they have to sit out- then go back in with a wad of tissue stuck up their nose just to show how tough they really are (True). Oh, and I can't forget the the goalie ball saves via head-butt (Deni) or the "touch-down dances" that ensued every time a goal was made (True).

Good times, good times.
They did good, they learned a lot, and most importantly, they had a great time!
A Sunday morning sleep-in followed by a Banana Pancake breakfast was a proper celebration to the end of soccer season.
I used this recipe.

And listened to this while they were cooking:
Mmmmm, these were so yummy! Soft on the inside, slight crispness on the outside and the sweet taste of banana in every bite. Everyone loved them!

Now, maybe just MAYBE, you'll get an extra post out of me each week. That is, until the next "extra-curricular activity" comes along and takes over our lives!
(*oops, put the other blog's water-mark on the pics. In case you were confused, I was updating two blogs at once!)

First, I do the water mark mix up thing all the time.
I think your attitude about soccer is the best - I can see you're not one of those crazy parents that gets totally wound up in winning and their child's performance. It really is about having fun and that needs to be remembered.
Yes T-Rex Mom, it's all about the fun!
The only time we're "mean" is that we don't let them quit.
They know that if they sign up for something they have to follow through. They don't have to do it next year or for the rest of their lives but once they commit to it for the 8wk soccer season, then they have to see it through.
This isn't usually a problem though!
My hubby is loud when he cheers. He sounds mean! One mom was giving him looks until she realized, he was only cheering them on, and he was cheering for BOTH TEAMS!
So yeah, we are NOT those parents who are there screaming at their kids not making the goal-
They learned a little about soccer, a lot about team work and got lots of wonderful exercise!
Well, I DO scream. I'd hate for you to be called a liar about this but anybody that shows up can hear me yelling so . . . but at least I try to scream positive things!
