Refinishing furniture, gardening, baking, cooking, party planning, volunteering and being a soccer mom among other things.
The good news is I will have lots to post soon!
The bad news, you will just have to wait because I'm just too busy!
To tide you over, here is Zombie Dad making our first batch of homemade laundry detergent.
It has been on my "to do" list for a while. We keep buying tiny bottles of detergent everytime we run out because I keep not getting to it.
But Zombie Dad came to my rescue and made it for me.
That or he just got tired of tripping over the bucket of detergent-making supplies I've had sitting out for weeks.
So far I think it works good. We don't heavily soil our clothes on a regular basis though. So I'll have to see how it works after soccer games this week.

Hopefully in a few short days I will have a real post and not a bunch of excuses as to why I don't have a real post.

I love that you guys make your own laundry soap. We have to purchase a special kind for our cloth diapers otherwise we'd totally be doing this.
If I could go back and do one thing different it would be to use cloth diapers!
I shudder to think at how much we contributed to the landfills.
See, I think it is great that you waited a while to have kids. When your younger, you aren't (in most cases)as conscious of things.
We also have the knowledge and the tools to do what we can when we're a little older as well!
You are raising your kids how I wish I had the knowledge to eleven years ago!
